Just like the French fabric of the same name, the Moiré red tray createsan iridescent effect with its embossed motif. The granulation-enhancedsurface of the bowl is further enhanced by the colour. Granulation is a specific finish applied to the metal surface, whichreinterprets an ancient goldsmithing technique with an industrial twist.The arrangement of the granules follows a geometric order generated bythe Fibonacci sequence, named after the Italian mathematician whoidentified the numerical code behind the Golden Ratio, one of the mainprinciples that governs shapes in nature.
